I'm trying to add a user name for this through the web admin interface, but when i try to log in it does not work. if i delete the user name and create it through the software API, it works with no problem.

When you save the changes in the web administration interface and navigate back to the account page, are you able to see your newly created account?

Our developers were able to duplicate this problem and have fixed it. You can download the updated version from the sysax.com website
