Article Question: When I try to start Sysax Multi Server, I keep getting this error message: "Sysax Multi Server service could not be started. Please contact our support team for help in resolving this problem."

Answer: The most common reason for this error is that another program is already listening on the port that you have configured Sysax Multi Server to use. This includes the ports that you have setup for web based administration in addition to the ports used for file transfer.

Try enabling only one port at a time and start the server. This will help pinpoint the port which is already in use by another program. Stop the other program and start Sysax Multi Server.
