I am evaluating your software and created Sysax user accounts and connected using sftp. It appears I can create an https connection as well but I don't see anything in the manual.

yes, you can also setup the server for https so that you can securely transfer files using any web browser. We have a major release scheduled for late this week or early next week that will have a completely updated manual in addition to many new features.
